When Osama Bin Laden was killed, he was met at the Pearly Gates by George Washington, who slapped him across the face and yelled, "How dare you try to destroy the nation I helped conceive!"

Patrick Henry approached, punched him in the nose and shouted, "You wanted to end our liberties but you failed."

James Madison followed, kicked him in the groin and said, "This is why I allowed our government to provide for the common defense!"

Thomas Jefferson was next, beat Osama with a long cane and snarled, "It was evil men like you who inspired me to write the Declaration of Independence."

The beatings and thrashings continued as George Mason, James Monroe and 66 other early Americans unleashed their anger on the terrorist leader.

As Osama lay bleeding and in pain, an Angel appeared. Bin Laden wept and said, "This is not what you promised me."

The Angel replied, "I told you there would be 72 Virginians waiting for you in Heaven. What did you think I said?"

Ann Coulter A Glowing Report on Radiation

Ann Coulter has a great column (here) about the radiation scare in Japan. I've read research for years that a little radiation is good for you. She quotes much of the research I've read and also some I haven't seen.

With the terrible earthquake and resulting tsunami that have devastated Japan, the only good news is that anyone exposed to excess radiation from the nuclear power plants is now probably much less likely to get cancer.

This only seems counterintuitive because of media hysteria for the past 20 years trying to convince Americans that radiation at any dose is bad. There is, however, burgeoning evidence that excess radiation operates as a sort of cancer vaccine.

As The New York Times science section reported in 2001, an increasing number of scientists believe that at some level -- much higher than the minimums set by the U.S. government -- radiation is good for you. "They theorize," the Times said, that "these doses protect against cancer by activating cells' natural defense mechanisms."

Unbelieveable survey

I just received a phone survey. The questions were as follows:

1. How likely are you to vote in November? very likely, somewhat likely, not likely. I pressed 1
2. Are you more likely to vote Republican, Democrat, or independent? I pressed 1
3. Are you more likely to vote for Sharon Angle, Harry Reid, or someone else? I pressed 1
4. What is the best reason to vote for Harry Reid? Sharon Angle is dangerous or Harry Reid can do more for Nevada? Say what?

I waited in disbelief for more options, there were none. I hung up. If this is the kind of biased, unfair surveys Dingy Harry's people are using he's in deeper trouble than he knows!

Our great nation in peril...

For those who may be discouraged because we have a president that hates this country and is doing all he can to destroy it:

Men may fail in this country, earthquakes may come, seas may heave beyond their bounds, there may be great drought, disaster, and hardship, but this nation, founded on principles laid down by men whom God raised up, will never fail. This is the cradle of humanity, where life on this earth began in the Garden of Eden. This is the place of the new Jerusalem. This is the place that the Lord said is favored above all other nations in all the world. This is the place where the Savior will come to His temple. This is the favored land in all the world. Yes, I repeat, men may fail, but this nation won’t fail. I have faith in America; you and I must have faith in America, if we understand the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are living in a day when we must pay heed to these challenges.

I plead with you not to preach pessimism. Preach that this is the greatest country in all the world. This is the favored land. This is the land of our forefathers. It is the nation that will stand despite whatever trials or crises it may yet have to pass through.

(Harold B. Lee, an Apostle of Jesus Christ quoted from Ye Are the Light of the World 350-51)

Brown is beating Coakley!!!!

The revolution and repudiation of Barack Hussein Obama is on!

The following is found here at: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_massachusetts_senate

BOSTON – Striving for an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown pushed ahead of Democrat Martha Coakley on Tuesday in a U.S. Senate election that became a referendum on President Barack Obama's health care overhaul and his first year.

A loss — or even a narrow victory — by the once-favored Coakley for the seat that the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy held for nearly half a century in this Democratic stronghold could signal big political problems for the president's party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide.

More immediately at stake was a critical 60th vote for Democrats to save their health care legislation and the rest of Obama's agenda. A 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate could allow the GOP to block the president's priorities with filibusters.

With 60 percent of precincts reported, Brown held a steady lead over Coakley.

Let's hope the lead continues!

The Ten Commandments According to Obama

By Patriot Update

© 2009 The Patriot Update. Feel free to circulate this article, but please link / give credit to The Patriot Update.

After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct opposite!

I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE

II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore. SOURCE

III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama. SOURCE

IV. Remember tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy. SOURCE

V. Honour thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money. SOURCE

VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby. SOURCE

VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed. SOURCE

VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you've been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives. SOURCE

IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian. SOURCE

X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet. SOURCE

Is Barack Obama a fascist?

Is Barack Obama a fascist?

According to the Britannica Online Encyclopedia:

Although fascist parties and movements differed significantly from each other, they had many characteristics in common, including extreme militaristic nationalism, contempt for electoral democracy and political and cultural liberalism, a belief in natural social hierarchy and the rule of elites, and the desire to create a Volksgemeinschaft (German: “people’s community”), in which individual interests would be subordinated to the good of the nation.

Hmmm, sounds like Obama!
According to the Concise Encyclopedia of Economics:

Fascism is socialism with a capitalist veneer. The word derives from fasces, the Roman symbol of collectivism and power: a tied bundle of rods with a protruding ax. In its day (the 1920s and 1930s), fascism was seen as the happy medium between boom-and-bust-prone liberal capitalism

Well, Obama has talked about the need for government intervention to prevent "bubble and bust" economics.

Jerry Doyle, former Wall Street broker, actor playing Michael Garibaldi on Babylon 5, and now the 7th biggest talk show host points out in Human Events that:

Economic fascism can be defined as government control over the four P’s: Product, Price, Profit Margin, and People

Then he uses Obama's takeover of Chrysler to prove that Obama has taken control of all of them. Let's examine this. Obama didn't like the product so he's requiring Chrysler to make cars no one wants (claiming they were already doing that and now he's going to fix it); he doesn't like the price so he's going to set the price, he now controls the profit margin and finally, he has taken control of the people that are allowed to have jobs and how much they are paid and has even seized the assets of investors and given those investment shares to the unions.

So is Obama a fascist? YES!!!!!!!!!

James W. von Brunn is a socialist!

After James W. von Brunn murdered a security guard at the holocaust museum the news media predictably began calling the man a "right winger." In reality if you look at the man's writings, the man is a leftist socialist! of course the left wing media refuses to admit that Hitler and the Nazis were also socialists.

This may be the reason I see many similarities between Hitler's rise in Germany and Obama's rise here...

Our first neo-Marxist president?

The latest Larry Elder column is here: http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/elder052109.php3

A particularly interesting excerpt follows

Our first neo-Marxist president?

By Larry Elder

...

In the early 1900s, a businessman, Carl Fisher, owned the Prest-O-Lite headlight company. He organized an association to finance coast-to-coast paved roads so that motorists could drive both day and night, ideally using his headlights. The association soon disbanded, when Congress passed the Federal Road Aid Act of 1916. What would have happened had government not built an interstate highway system? A consortium of truckers/gas stations/hotels/motels/roadside restaurants would likely have built one with their own money in order to make more money. They would have charged tolls for maintenance. Motorists actually using the roads would bear their costs.

Private business built the first leg of the New York subway system. And it made money — at least before local government used taxpayer money to build competing systems and undercut the fare charged by the private operator. Tax dollars hid the true cost, allowing the city-owned service to charge less. Ultimately, the private operators sold out to the city.

Did Eisenhower have the constitutional authority to build the interstate highway system? Yes, but not to improve economic development — and he knew it. In fact, the official name of the interstate highways is the Dwight D. Eisenhower National System of Interstate and Defense Highways. Ike argued that the country needed paved highways to move missiles around to protect the country. From a military standpoint, the argument was dubious. Missiles could be launched from fixed positions, as technology continually increased range, speed, accuracy and power.

...

This is a highly recommended article!

Andrew McCarthy's letter to AG Eric Holder

Andrew McCarthy's letter to AG Eric Holder. Great reading!

Dear Attorney General Holder:
This letter is respectfully submitted to inform you that I must decline the invitation to participate in the May 4 roundtable meeting the President’s Task Force on Detention Policy is convening with current and former prosecutors involved in international terrorism cases. An invitation was extended to me by trial lawyers from the Counterterrorism Section, who are members of the Task Force, which you are leading.

Rookie President

Thomas Sowell's latest here: http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/sowell033109.php3

Here's are some exerpts:

Barack Obama is a rookie in a sense that few other Presidents in American history have ever been. It is not just that he has never been President before. He has never had any position of major executive responsibility in any kind of organization where he was personally responsible for the outcome.

Other first-term Presidents have been governors, generals, cabinet members or others in positions of personal responsibility. A few have been senators, like Barack Obama, but usually for longer than Obama, and had not spent half their few years in the senate running for President.

...

What did his televised overture to the Iranians accomplish, except to reassure them that he was not going to do a damn thing to stop them from getting a nuclear bomb? It is a mistake that can go ringing down the corridors of history.

Future generations who live in the shadow of that nuclear threat may wonder what we were thinking about, putting our lives-- and theirs-- in the hands of a rookie because we liked his style and symbolism?

Walter William's latest

Walter Williams makes a very good point doesn't he?

Affordable Health Care
by Walter E. Williams

One of the campaign themes this election cycle is "affordable" health care. Shouldn't we ask ourselves whether we want the politicians who brought us the "affordable" housing, that created the current financial debacle, to now deliver us affordable health care? Shouldn't we also ask how things turned out in countries where there is socialized medicine?

Read the rest here: http://townhall.com/columnists/WalterEWilliams/2008/10/22/affordable_health_care

I fear for our country's future if the communist Barak Obama wins this election. I don't think things will be all that great with McCain either, but at least he doesn't hate our country as Obama does.

The religion of environmentalism

I've been thinking about modern day environmentalism and have come to some conclusions.

Environmentalism is anti-human, anti-freedom, and anti-Christian. It is a religion that must be taken on faith, because if you look at environmental principles rationally and using the scientific method, the whole environmental movement falls apart.

Scientists that buy into the global warming argument are either a) outside their area of expertise or b) funded by sources that will not allow them to show their evidence that it does not exist or is not a serious problem. Those scientists that do argue that global warming is a fraud are vilified and accused of altering their test results to mollify the source of their funding. Ironic, since it's the pro-warming crowd that either falsifies its data or modifies its computer models to give the proper results.

In the '70s the alarmists screamed that we were causing the globe to cool and disaster would surely follow. Twenty years later the same people were yelling the same thing about global warming. Now that the earth is cooling again, they've decided to hedge their bets by calling it "climate change." What utter nonsense. They tell us that the current cooling trend is only temporary and the earth will warm again. Well, yes! And then it will cool again and then it will warm again and, well that's the point isn't it? Climate always changes. There have been far greater fluctuations in the past and we're still here.

The true purpose of environmentalism is to scare us into socialism. I always say follow the money. I can amend that to follow the power. Socialism is not a system that works well for the people that have to live under it. It is a system that can be manipulated to give a few enormous power and wealth and that is why so many people support it. They think they will be the ones that get the power and wealth, but for most they will be disappointed. Few of Lenin's fellow revolutionaries survived. As successful revolutionaries, they were just too dangerous for Lenin to allow them to survive. The same will be true for the vast majority of those who are using the environmental religion to advance their socialistic cause.

People, who value their religion, must stop the godless socialists. People who value freedom must stop the environmentalist who would steal it. All people must stop the anti-human zealots that would "save" the planet for less deserving plants and animals.

Some of the political aspects of the environmental movement are explored in Vaclav Klaus' book Blue Planet in Green Shackles. Klaus is a former president of the Czech Republic.

In Iain Murphy's book The Really Inconvenient Truths, Murray points out (quoting from the CEI website):

  • How ethanol, the liberals' favorite fuel, is destroying the world's rainforests--and could cause global food shortages
  • How Al Gore's hero Rachel Carson cost the lives of millions of Africans through her efforts to ban DDT
  • How the environmentalists have covered up the polluting effects of contraceptive and chemical abortion drugs
  • How the Endangered Species Act actually endangers species
  • How Gore's vision of greater state control over the economy has already produced some of the greatest environmental disasters in history

Its interesting to not that even the World Health Organization is now in favor of legalizing DDT to combat the epidemic of malaria in Africa. It also should be pointed out that the mosquito that carries malaria is found in the U.S.! Malaria could easily be transferred from Africa or South America to the United States if it is not controlled soon.

Our Heroes

I heard the dems were squealing about this ad. As I watched I'm thinking, "yeah I can see they wouldn't like this ad," and then the returned soldier walked away from the camera and I was in tears. Tears of gratitude for our heroes who are keeping us safe--and tears of anger at people like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Barak Obama who are trying to lose this war for their own personal power. They are despicable and they should be stopped, no must be stopped!

The speech! Home run!

Mr. Chairman, delegates, and fellow citizens: I am honored to be considered for the nomination for Vice President of the United States...

I accept the call to help our nominee for president to serve and defend America.

I accept the challenge of a tough fight in this election... against confident opponents ... at a crucial hour for our country.

And I accept the privilege of serving with a man who has come through much harder missions ... and met far graver challenges ... and knows how tough fights are won - the next president of the United States, John S. McCain.

It was just a year ago when all the experts in Washington counted out our nominee because he refused to hedge his commitment to the security of the country he loves.

With their usual certitude, they told us that all was lost - there was no hope for this candidate who said that he would rather lose an election than see his country lose a war.

But the pollsters and pundits overlooked just one thing when they wrote him off.
